Apple Nut Milk Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup raw nuts (e.g., almonds, cashews, walnuts, or a mix)
- 2 medium apples (peeled, cored, and chopped)
- 4 cups filtered water (plus extra for soaking)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- 1 pinch of cinnamon (optional)
- 1-2 pitted dates or a drizzle of maple syrup for extra sweetness (optional)
Instructions:
- Soak the Nuts:
Place the nuts in a bowl and cover them with water. Soak for 4-6 hours (or overnight) to soften them. Drain and rinse thoroughly. - Blend:
Add the soaked nuts, chopped apples, filtered water, and any optional ingredients (vanilla, cinnamon, sweetener) to Canoly juicer. - Strain (Optional):
For a smoother texture, strain the mixture through a nut milk bag, cheesecloth, or fine mesh strainer. Squeeze to extract all the liquid.
If you’re using cashews (which blend very smoothly), you can skip this step. - Store:
Pour the milk into a glass jar or bottle and refrigerate. It will stay fresh for 3-4 days. Shake well before use.
