PROTOTYPE TIMELINE
Could a cold-press system work without a commercial-size footprint?
Built the first compact auger and basic filter stack.
It made juice—but leaks and wobble appeared after repeated use.
Stabilize the base and seal every fluid path.
Leaks around the filter and an unstable housing interrupted use.
Reinforced the base and redesigned the gasket path.
Leaks dropped significantly, but vibration remained under load.
Reduce vibration, heat, and operating noise.
Longer sessions created more noise, vibration, and motor heat.
Reworked the motor mount and added a dedicated airflow path.
Operation became quieter and more stable—but cleanup still felt like work.
Simplify every part users had to remove and wash.
Pulp collected in corners and too many parts required scrubbing.
Reduced hidden corners and redesigned the chamber for quick rinsing.
Cleanup became faster, but users still had to prep and feed produce constantly.
Reduce cutting, loading, and hands-on time.
Small feed chutes made users cut produce and stand beside the machine.
Introduced a wide hopper with a hands-free batch-loading concept.
Loading became easier, but large ingredients sometimes entered unevenly.
Pre-cut produce before it reaches the squeezing chamber.
Large pieces could bridge inside the hopper and interrupt the flow.
Added a pre-cutting blade and refined the path into the compact auger.
Ingredients moved more consistently, but fibrous pulp could still slow the outlet.
Redesign the pulp path to reduce clogging throughout a full batch.
Fibrous pulp accumulated at the outlet during longer recipes.
Reworked the press chamber, pulp outlet, and internal flow geometry.
Full batches ran more smoothly with fewer interruptions.
Expand beyond juice without adding another countertop appliance.
Juice alone could not replace separate machines for nut milk and sorbet.
Developed interchangeable strainers for juice, plant milk, and frozen fruit.
All three functions worked, but switching modes needed to feel more intuitive.

Where It All Began
Canoly began with a simple question: Why do so many juicers end up unused? In 2023, we set out to make everyday wellness easier to start—and easier to keep.
Reviews Studied
We studied more than 6,000 real user reviews to understand what made juicing difficult, from noise and clogging to complicated cleanup and products being stored away.
Prototype Generations
Those insights guided nine generations of prototypes. Each iteration addressed a real friction point, bringing us closer to a machine people would genuinely want to use again.
C16 Launched
In 2025, those years of listening, testing, and refinement became the C16—a three-in-one appliance designed to make juice, nut milk, and sorbet part of everyday life.
